2025 Indiana Civic Health Index Discussion (Regional Follow-Up)

Earlier this year, the 2025 Indiana Civic Health Index was introduced at the Indiana Statehouse. Join Ball State University’s Center for Economic & Civic Learning for a regional follow-up conversation examining what the latest findings mean for our campus and communities.
In partnership with the Indiana Bar Foundation, this event will explore new data on:
- Voter registration and turnout
- Civic and political participation
- Volunteerism and community engagement
- Social connectedness and trust
Dr. David J. Roof, author of the voter engagement section of the Index, will present findings and facilitate a dialogue about what the data reveal — and how students, educators, nonprofit leaders, and community members can respond in meaningful ways.
This event is open to students, faculty, staff, and community partners interested in strengthening civic life across Indiana.
Lunch will be provided. Registration is encouraged.
